Putting faces to names
Acting Senior Minister
Chris comes to us having served the last 6 ½ years with The Bush Church Aid Society of Australia in the role of NSW/ACT Regional Officer. Chris is married to Jenny and they have one grown up daughter and two adorable grandsons. Chris is interested in model trains, likes to ride his motorbike and is hoping to revive his hobby of woodturning.
Matt is married to Joanne and they have 3 kids. Matt was the minister at Bondi Church for 6 years prior to Dural. Matt’s dad was a former Rector of St Judes, and Matt was born and lived on site for 11 months, so technically is a local. For Matt seeing Liverpool FC win is good, running and dreaming of a call up to the national squad (in any sport) is fun, but seeing people come to know Jesus is the best.
Roger is our youth minister. He is married to the lovely Nikki and they have three children. Formerly worked as an engineer, before working in student ministry at Sydney University. He loves old classic cars, good coffee, cricket and catching up with guys to read the Bible and live life together.
Women's Minister (P/T)
Ruth joined us in February 2017 and loves emus and other Australian wildlife. She enjoys travelling … from the big smoke to join us in Dural. Being connected to others in church is a vital part of continuing as a Christian, and Ruth is keen to help women do this. Always keen for a catch up, to lend a listening ear or to read the Bible together, Ruth is ready …
Children's Minister (P/T)
Gayoung is our Children’s Minister and has a passion to see children understand the love, grace and kingship of Jesus. She is married to Tim and they have two young children. She has had ministry experience in a wide number of churches both large and small. She leads Playtime on Fridays and our Sunday Kids program at Dural at 10am.
Office Administration (P/T)
Judy runs our church office. She is responsible for everything, can do anything, knows everyone and can jump tall buildings in a single bound. She is married to Darrell (he’s the one on the right) and they have adult children and a handful of grandchildren. Judy can give you the help you didn’t think you’d need.
Judy is the office Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
Kenthurst Minister (P/T)
David is our “Sundays and a bit more” minister at Kenthurst. He is married to Kate and they have three adult daughters, two cute dogs and lots of birds (cockatiels, budgies and quails). David is theologically trained, yet still has stayed in the real world by working in IT. (But don’t ask him to fix your computer.) Davdi loves meeting people and helping them grow in their knowledge and understanding of Jesus.
